Bema is proud of its small, yet powerful, team of seasoned educators. This small teacher-to-student ratio pairs students with instructors who are specialized in primary, secondary and tertiary learning for classes that really get results. But it’s not just the great results in language learning and the milestones in academic achievements that make me proud to be part of the Bema team, we have witnessed a lot of great mentoring moments that have truly made the difference in the life of a student.

BEMA’S STUDENT-CENTERED APPROACH
Intimate Process Infinite Outcomes
At Bema, our small, individualized group classes focus on creating genuine understanding. Our students are engaged in interpretation, creation and presentation of ideas—all key skills that set great students apart from their peers in the classroom. Of course, there will always be tests and exams–the benchmarks that students must pass–but by teaching students how apply to their skills to any situation (instead of just memorizing “the right answers”) Bema has achieved top-notch performance and results.
Traditional Approach Modern Methods
Bema’s educators often employ the Oxford Tutorial format, requiring students to read a selection on their topic, write an analysis and present it back to the instructor. This tried-and-true method develops key skills like critical reading and persuasive writing outside class, while strengthening a student’s understanding of content and sharpening their critical thinking abilities through dynamic classroom discussions and lively, interactive debates inside class.
